Meet George

I’m a photographer who likes working with real people in real places.

That’s been the heart of it for me from the beginning — walking into hospitals, offices, labs, factories, schools, job sites, and work floors, trying to find the honest picture without turning the whole place upside down.

Most people don’t love being photographed. I understand that. My job is to make the day feel easy, keep things moving, and help people look like themselves on their best day.

I got my start with a scholarship to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, served in the U.S. Army, and later built and led photography departments for two major corporations before going out on my own.

What matters most hasn’t changed much:

Show up prepared.
Respect people’s time.
Pay attention.
Make honest photographs.

I don’t arrive with a circus. I work light when I need to, bring more production when the job calls for it, and try to make the process feel natural for everyone involved.

Some assignments are carefully planned. Others are fast, loose, and changing by the minute. Either way, I’m there to make good photographs without making the day harder than it needs to be.

That’s still the part I care about most.
