George’s work has appeared in national advertising and corporate campaigns. He has devoted decades to photographing people in the places that define them.

A scholarship to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston gave him his start. He later built and led photography departments for two major corporations before establishing his career as an independent photographer.

Born in the UK to a British mother and an American father, George grew up in Boston, served in the U.S. Army, and has focused his career on documenting people and the workplaces that shape their lives. He is a lifetime member of the American Society of Media Photographers.

Over the years, he has worked with some of the most creative people on the planet, traveling on assignments that have ranged from the Asian Games in Beijing to steel mills in Detroit, from high-tech research labs to the aftermath of hurricanes in Florida. Each assignment, whether industrial, corporate, or human in scale, has deepened his belief that the best stories are found where people live and work.
