About Me (Humble here)

Hello and welcome! I'm George, a photographer based a little north of Boston. I'm a big fan of the small things in life, like spending time with my son Chris and our dog Cody and that first cup of coffee in the morning. I also have a passion for writing and philosophy, you might even find me hiking in the woods but only if I can bring my GPS tracker, phone charger, cameras, lunch and a sketch pad.

As a kid with the help of a scholarship to the MFA in Boston, I was able to explore my passion for the visual arts. Later during my time as a helicopter crewman in the Military, I discovered my love for photography in the form of a point and shoot camera. That camera owned me. Along the way I built and managed award-winning photography departments for two Fortune 500 companies.

My cameras have taken me so many great places, kind of like Indiana Jones, but with more lens caps and less treasure. I’ve photographed steel mills and big jets on frozen runways, farmers, sports icons, and CEOs.

I must confess that I've never parachuted out of an airplane or met Elvis (though I did share an elevator once with Joe DiMaggio a million years ago). But what I lack in daring adventures, I make up for in my commitment to capturing the beauty and essence of the world around us.

I believe that every great photo tells a story. And sometimes, the story is just "I really wanted to take that picture."

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I look forward to connecting with you and creating something special together.
